The Hungarian Art Music Society is a union of Hungarian classical music professionals, including both composers and musicians. This society has its own ensemble, known as the HAM Ensemble.

The HAM Ensemble is an ensemble of professional musicians, highly devoted for the music of the present. The ensemble has premiered hundreds of works and is known for its innovative and adventurous programming and an annual "Mini" Festival presenting the crème of the newest works from Hungary and abroad.

Summing up, the HAM Ensemble sees themselves „in a ruthless search for new paths, new dimensions and of course - new audiences”.
