The six ensembles that form NewAud's "Young working community" meet for their first workshop on March 5th in Vienna.

The ensembles come from six different countries but they have a common goal: To find ways of engaging young people in contemporary music, whether this means educating young people, designing concert formats in tune with a young audience, actually planning a concert in cooperation with a selected young audience – or something else.

The NewAud ensembles are Melos Ethos, Avanti Chamber Orchstra, Athelas Sinfonietta, London Contemporary Orchestra, HAM Ensemble and Klangforum Wien.

They meet to kick off their cooperation at this 8 hour workshop featuring guests speakers, case examples, research overview - and hours of good discussions.
